Ricard Rubio, more known as Ricky Rubio. He is originally from Spain and specifically was born in El Masnou, Barcelona, October 21 1990. He is considered one of the best European guard prospects ever in the game of basketball. When he was young, he was famous because of his domination on the court. He was one of the best passers that any spanish coach has ever seen. He also, was able to complete games with 30-40 points and 15 rebounds. He is the actual point guard for the NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves, who chose Ricky in the fifth pick in the 2009 NBA draft. Rubio became the youngest player to play professionally in Europe. At the age of 14, his team, DKV Juventud, gave him the opportunity to have a debut in the second strongest league in the world, the ACB. At the age of 16, he was the youngest player ever born to play in a Euroleague game. On June 25, 2009, Ricky sign an agreement with Minnesota Timberwolves. However, Ricky decided to sign a six-year contract with FC Barcelona, which is considered one of the strongest teams in Europe. In contrast, for the season 2011-2012 he decided to play in the NBA.
